Net Bet Gamble - Footie - Sunday

Some very interesting games on Sunday

Southampton vs Fulham
In the 1.30 kick off, this looks like a win for Fulham.  Southampton are showing some ability up front, but very reliant on Rickie Lambert for goals.  The rest need to step up.  Their defence is definitely struggling, with 18 goals conceeded in just 6 games.

Liverpool vs Stoke
A shaky start for Liverpool under Brendan Rogers, but that was to be expected until a manager knows his players and they learn his methods.  The young boys have been mightily impressive, with Raheem Sterling giving consistently good performances.  They senior members will need to increase their level if they intend to hold onto a regular position.  However, the odds look very misleading in this matchup, with Stoke proving themselves as a very difficult team to break down.  I would tend to rule out a Stoke win, but the odds for a draw looks a realistic and tempting bet.

Tottenham vs Aston Villa
This one has a Spurs win written all over it.  A slow start under Andre Villas-Boas, but have really started to find their feet in the past few games.  Villa have yet to really find the right gear, but showing signs of improvement under Paul Lambert.  I just don't think they've got enough to fend off Spurs.

Newcastle Utd vs Manchester United
The defense of Newcastle has taken a hit and that looks like the decider in this one.  Cisse and Ba are finding their scoring rhythm, along with excellent supply from Ben Arfa.  But, the weakened Newcastle defence doesn't look like there's enough coming off the bench to be able to hold off the attacking ability of Manchester United.  Barring a half hearted effort by Man Utd, I can see them winning this one.
